Hi Mary,
I am writing to you about things you should know when getting a room to live in for your first semester at Macgill University.
I lived in the university dorm for two years during my master’s. In the hall, I had a private studio without a roommate, with one bathroom, a single bed, a total 40-meter space, and a spacious drawer and closet.
To reserve a room in the dormitory, you must go to the university’s central reception and ask for Mr Bernett, who is the main person for deciding on allocating rooms to students, for signing up for the waitlist. Tell them your condition and mention you need it as soon as possible but try to be nice and polite cause he’s a little bit strict.
There is one common mistake among students that you should avoid to have a better year in university. If the option of having a private room has been given to you, in my opinion, you mustn’t miss it. Having bad rommies can be a nightmare, and believe me, you don’t wanna risk it at all.
Look forward to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Arefe
