Dear Jihan,
Hi, how’s it going?, It’s been a while. I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing this one to give advice for you. I’m so glad to hear that you’ve been offered a place at our university, congratulations! You’re going to love it there.
When I was a student, I stayed in the University Indonesia dormitory for the first year. It was very convenient because it was close to the campus, and I didn’t have to worry about cooking since they provided meals. Later, I moved to a shared apartment near the city center, which was great for social life but a bit more expensive.
I recommend starting with the university’s accommodation office. They have a list of reliable housing options, including dormitories and approved private rentals. Another good option is joining the student telegram group, where people often post available rooms.
Be careful not to rent a place without seeing it first. Some students pay deposits online and later find out the property doesn’t exist or is in terrible condition. Always check the contract and make sure utilities are included.
Let me know if you need any more help. I’m happy to give you more tips.
Best regards
Nato
