Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the decrease in the library’s opening hours.

This recent change in library’s operation hours has affected my paycheck overall. I am a student who works here as a part-time employee, and when I am not working I like to finish my school work here in the library. This change has not only affected me but also other workers who are students.

With old schedule, early opening of the library has helped the employees to arrange the books and other material according to the section, but with new short schedule it is difficult to manage the books and to help customers.

My suggestion to increase the hours is by managing the shift timings. You may allocate less workers at the same time so that different people can have different schedule to have more working flexibility.

If you could re-schedule the previous opening hours that could be great.
