Over the years, so many things have changed due to technological improvements. One major improvement is the fierce adoption of online shopping. It is a popular belief that online shopping will result in the death of urban centers. I am strongly in agreement with this notion because people will no longer need to go to stores to purchase things and shops and stores are much more expensive to operate compared to online websites.
I have a memory from the Covid 19 period. I needed to buy a pair of shoes, but we were not able to go out du to the government restrictions. At that time, I was apprehensive about online shopping, because I was not sure if the product that I purchased would fit me. Ultimately, I had to make purchase online. So, I realized that the shoe fit my feet very well. This experience encouraged me to start buying my necessities online. So, you do not need to go to stores.
Running a physical store is much more expensive compared to online websites. If you want to run a physical store, you need to incur expenses such as, hiring staff,rent or buying some tools that your store’s will need them. So, the products which have been selling stores more expensive than online shopping.
To conclude, online shopping has too many advantages compared to physical stores. That is why, people’s choose is online. So, increasing of online shopping will continue. From my point of view, online shopping will lead to closure of all physical stores in towns in the future.
