Some people are of the opinion that more individuals’ roots from around the world with different cultural backgrounds living in the same country would help the nation to be more intriguing for tourists and likely to be more developed. Personally, I believe that it has both positive and negative effects, and this essay will discuss the reasons.
On the one hand, more people from different nationalities living in the same places, leading to a better quality of human resources. By having a lot of individuals that came from numerous culture, it would alleviate the anxiety about culture shock from people outside the nations and gain their interested in working or exploring in a new environments. In other words, if large corporations or small business wanted to hired some employees, they would find it easier owing to an assortment of manpower when they have the opportunities to utilize a pool of talent from different countries; therefore, this would likely to help develop the economic of the country. Take United States as an example, a multitude of large companies’ leaders such as Google is a foreigner and become an integral part of their project to help they achieve an auspicious future.
On the other hand, while it is undeniable that the population with different nationalities and religions would help in developing the country, the safety of citizens is more imperative than ever before. To begin with, a number of illegal refugees would occurred in the nation, which are directly detrimental to community well-being. Some people who are not allowed to live in the country might use some different ways and even violence to sneak in. As a result, this could threaten the safety of the people and the nation as well. To some extent, politics would need to change some policy in order to protect their citizens.
In conclusion, while it seems to me that it would be more beneficial for a country to have a population with a lot of people from around the world, there is still negative issue that this could bring to the people.
