In globally every government should provide the defence capability in the name of army department at country border range and police department in local range.The Government also provide essential needs to people such as roads,water and power.But some other services are health, education and social security are provided by private groups or individuals in the community .
The government is facilitates the essential needs by paying public taxes. According to our GDP rate India is a developing country vast geographical conditions are there in our country it cause to require huge expenditure on defence. The population of our country is also more according to other countries. So governments are focused on basic infrastructure by providing roads, drinking water, and social security for example police department is there for control crime occurence, protection, control the violence and ensure peaceful environment.Its not possible to facilitate all needs by its economy. Rest of all this today Governments also provide the schools for poor people who are not capable to private schools and hospitals are also established with good medical equipments and service by 24/7
Some of highly influenced and rich peoples are provided these needs individually by private groups They used to study in corporate schools and medical services by foreign hospitals
In my conclusion I agree with the government did all possible services according to economy of nation rest of the government,Some NGO are also participate and give support to government during natural calamities like floods by providing clothes,food, and medical aids
