Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my perspectives on the current discussion on whether invest in local children’s sports or on open-air concerts.

In recent years, the demand for children’s sports activities has evolved. Although there are some centers that offer classes for children, the quantity and quality of these are in debate, and there are no local teams. Being part of a sports team not only motivates children to exercise but also teaches children to cooperate with their peers and makes them good team members in the future. In contrast, open-air concerts have benefits mostly for adults. Although it brings joy and happiness to the public, there are other places for adults to enjoy, from indoor activities to outdoor ones.

I appreciate your considering public views. Both these activities have benefits for the public; however, I believe investing in children’s sports teams has more value for society as they learn the skills that will be used in the future.
