As artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into people’s lives, an increasing number of them heavily rely on this technology for decision-making in various aspects of their lives. Over-reliance may jeopardize individual’s ability to think critically and form his own opinion independently. These issues can be addressed by educating the population about limitations of artificial intelligence and how to utilize it responsibly.

One major problem is that people opt for turn to AI for advice or help. This techology always provide the population with ready-made answers, and information that has already been analyzed. Therefore, individuals don’t assess the information and can’t develop logical thinking skills. For instance, those, who tend to solve problems with investment by using AI and blindly follow it’s advices, may incur substantial financial losses. As a result, over-dependence may pose a serious threat to capacity to making decision, particularly in important areas of life.

To delve deeper into this, the trend of over-reliance on artificial intelligence may have an impact on society as well. Due to the reduction in people’s ability to think critically, some individual may face difficulties in standing by their opinion and making decisions independetly. This way, they become more vulnerable, as well as they may indergo manipulations and be easily influenced. It can contribute to emerging of social conflicts and strong hierarchy. However, there is an effective way to address these issues. The goverment should raise awareness of AI limitations and implement strict regulation. In this conditions, authoroties shall give the explanation how to search and verify information by using simple strategies. This simplicity will be seen as appealing, thus the population will try to analyze data by themselves.

In conclusion, indeed, people become dependent upon AI assistance, rather than develop their skills in assessing information. This trend definitely may endore their capacity to make decisions without any help that can lead to loss of individual’s autonomy. Nonetheless, it can be solved by restricting the utilization of artificial intelligence and suggesting an alternative way to obtain information.
