Nurturing children is very essential because it makes a great human being in later life. Here some guardians believe that constantly being involved in the lives of children is good parenting while others opine that if children handle the situations of their lives by themselves is the right way of development to children. I believe that they should be capable of dealing with circumstances so that they become mature enough in later life. Firstly I would discuss the benefits of an independent child and secondly the drawbacks of a pampered child.
On the one side, there are a lot of ups and downs happening in human life. If a child understands the situation try an error basis then it will become stronger. This can lead to a better understanding of life and it not only changes the personality of a child but also at some age they have good experience and knowledge of situations. For instance, a person who belongs to a poor family background has a good ability to handle situations because, at a very young age, they face the difficulty of shortage of food, money, education, and less parental attention. Consequently, they learn from the surrounding neighbourhood or society and develop their future better than a pampered child.
On the other side, pampering makes a lazy and incompetent child so parents should set limits for nurturing otherwise, the biggest impact will show in children’s growth. Therefore, a child becomes dependent on parents in every situation and also lack of maturity changes a child’s behaviors and personality. To cite an example, in my society, parents who have a single child always over care their child. We can easily separate them from an independent child because generally, they are introverted in nature and always take help from their seniors or family members. Thus, they become less risk-takers and immature in their lives.
In conclusion, over caring makes a child lazy and incompatible, although an independent child is stronger and has better knowledge of life, indeed.
