Kids have more ability to practice and learn international languages; therefore, it is better for children to study languages at a young age. In my opinion, pupils with not much effort can easily learn languages because they have a lot of free time in their days, and they can memorize better than older adults.
First of all, young people acquire linguistic skills rapidly. As a consequence, they have spare time, and for this reason, they can effortlessly practice different languages by playing games, for example, Scrabble or video games, and also by watching cartoons and listening to their favorite songs in a foreign language. Thus, children get accustomed to international languages by practicing them in their leisure time.
In addition, youngsters possess a more adaptable and flexible mind; therefore, they can memorize and retain new vocabulary and expressions since their brain is fresh and at a stage of development. To elaborate, they can create new neural pathways unlike older people. For instance, children are at a phase of playing and having fun, while on the other side, adults have lots of responsibilities to think about. As a result of this freedom from daily obligations, children are highly receptive to language acquisition.
In conclusion, adolescents require minimal effort to learn different languages. I strongly believe that the liberty in time for young learners and the fact that they have fluid and flexible brains to absorb new elements and concepts enable them to succeed in foreign language studies more easily than adults.
