Cities around the world are likely to expand as people leave the countryside. Some people prefer to live in the city, but others prefer to stay in the countryside. Unfortunately, the new generation tends to leave the countryside for work, better opportunities, or financial reasons, leading to an imbalance in population between the two areas.
On the one hand, there are many big cities that people want to work or travel because of the facilities and amenities: both are the main point why still large number of people being attracted. This is because – convenient. Imagine a situation in a rush hours in the morning, thousand of people are on their vehicles on the streets going to work, but you can not be late. Therefore, public transportation play a big role here, for example; some countries have a special lanes for public transport: buses or train, allowing employees to arrive their destination earlier without time-consuming as before.
On the other hand, countryside will continue to be abandoned by young people, who desire for cosmopolitan and dream jobs in big cities. So severe that this is a fact, elderly seem to be the only population in here because of the lifestyle: slowly, friendly, and kind. However, this kind of lifestyle bring them: calm, smile, and nature, which in the center of city do not have. For instance, an organic vegetables or fruits in here are affordable price and good quality, but in the cities it will be three time of the actual price and the quality will not be as fresh as countryside.
In conclusion, both cities and countryside are developing in different ways, and people continue to come and go between them. In my opinion, cities are more suitable for work and career opportunities, but for long-term living, I would certainly choose the countryside.
