Some people argue that climate change is a hazardous threat to creatures on the Earth. Although it is a relevant problem, I firmly believe that inasmuch as it is a long-term issue, there are more essential problems, such as viruses.
Climate change can’t be called the biggest threat, considering the fact that detrimental consequences will be seen only decades after. Why a time of appearance of the effect is so important is that it demonstates how much time we have to hadle with it. For instance, climate change poses a threat to polar bears, by melting glaciers and transforming their life conditons. But these changes don’t occur immediately, killing the majority of bears. The tempreature decreases slightly, so it is an important issue, but we have time to solve this problem. Already we have a spearhead research about the ozone layer above Australia. It is told that some measures had positive effects, proving that we may tackle climate change problems.
I argue that we have more hazardous threats on our planet, than climate change. For example, viruses have been a huge problem for the humanity for ages. Firstly, because they have a short-term effect, so they affect the human body in time of contact with them, causing a disease or even a death. Secondly, the majority of people suffer from viruses, because it spreads easily and quickly by air, water, food. For example, the coronovirus was a reason of death a lot of people in a short period of time, caused the pandemia COVID-19. Additionally, it is the biggest threat due to the fact that now there is a threatment only against the small number of viruses.
In conclusion, I believe that climate change is a crucial issue, but there are more vital problems such as viruses.
