It is held by some that there should be more sports amenities for local people than for professional sports people. Personally, I completely agree with the viewpoint, and the facilities that are provided can help people to lead a healthy lifestyle and strengthen mental health.
Firstly, providing enough facilities for training can be helpful for individuals to lead a healthier lifestyle. In other words, global problems, including obesity or heart disease, can be cured by training and getting rid of unhealthy eating habits. Built by the government, fully equipped sports complexes encourage people to do more physical activities. Locals can visit gyms more often, and as a result of practicing sessions, people can overcome such problems related to their overall health.
Secondly, it can help workers to feel relaxed after a challenging day of work. Individuals who take regular activities every day are more likely to get energized and productive. It means that after taking physical exercises, people may get empowered and ready for the next day. It also increases the levels of dopamine in their bodies, and individuals might be motivated to do the activities again. Sports facilities provided by the government can positively affect their mental and physical well-being.
To sum up, I completely agree with this view and believe that building sports complexes for local people rather than sports people might start to lead a healthy life and strengthen their mental well-being.
