Nowadays, more students choose to obtain their degrees abroad because it is more accessible and less financially burdensome than ever before. In my opinion, this pattern is highly advantageous for the graduates’ home countries as it brings valuable global expertise and I believe movement will eventually stabilize as domestic education systems improve.
On the one hand, studying abroad is very good for the student’s country. Foreign universities have good education. Students can learn new skills and modern knowledge there. When these students come back home, they can help their country. They can work in local offices. For example, many students study computers in America. After that, they come back and work in their country. So, the home country becomes better.
On the other hand, this trend will change in the future. It will slow down because local universities are becoming good. Now, governments are spending money on education. They build new universities. For example, some British universities are opening branches in other countries. So, students can study in their own city. They do not need to travel to another country.
In conclusion, studying abroad helps the home country because students bring back good knowledge. However, this trend will stop growing because local education is improving.
