Band 5+: Competitiveness is a positive quality for people in most societies. How does competitiveness affect individuals? Is it a positive or negative trend?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In a contemporary society many individuals believe that competitiveness is a positive quality, whilst others argue that it has adverse effects. I strongly contend that it is affirmative development, the primary reason for that is it keeps human beings stay motivated. Although it has an impact on people, which is they will never stop at the one place.

Competition helps for people stay motiveted, because individuals tend to compare themselfs with other people, and competitiveness quality will help them try their best in every single field. Additionally, it is a common sight to see that among people at work, at university, and at school they are in competition, in school children compare their bands, at university students comapre their knowlegde and band, but in adult life individuals have competitiveness in all sorts of things, one of the popular among them it is a salary. In addition, members of society will always try their best in order to be better than others. By that people can enhace their skills in order to become more succesful than others. Therefore, life is competitiveness and by that quality people will always improve themselfs. For example, in Astana in many places people want to improve themselfs, and they located in the competitiveness environment, which provides for them an amount of motivetion to them.

The influence of this is that individuals will not undrestand where they must have stop. According to that, individuals who were in competitive environment since their childhood do not know when and where they have to stop. Moreover, when they achived a goal they will take aim for other aspects and it will may be never stopped. As a result, people may not feel satitcfation from achiving goals, but they still through to a new ambitions, due to the fact that they exhausted from competition. For instance, many people do not understand where they have to stop, because in emergency situation they have to stop competition, and also after achieving a goal they immidently want to reach others, and it will readited again and again.

To conclude, some people think that competitiveness it is a positive development, while others think that it brings negative effects. I on the opinion that it is a positive quality, because it keeps for individuals stay motiveted. The impact of this is that people will never stop at one place.
