According to a viewpoint, which I am strongly in favor of, artists should indeed feel free to express themselves the way they would desire, mainly on the basis of impressing their audience as they see fit without feeling the burden of governmental restrictions on their shoulders.
Creative pioneer artits should be privilaged enough to freely express thir ideas, no matter how far beyond the social norms, as creativity nessecitates such freedom. Had the painter namely Marcell Doschen, as a case in point, not used an empty toilet in an internationally known exhibition without being under the obligation of social ethics which might have been forced by the authorities, the conceptual art which thrives in criticising modern boundries would have never flourished. Consequently, the avent-garde movement of art can, from my point of view be the required propultion of artistic creativity.
Additionally, in art forms like cinema being free of any imposed restrictions can lead to the production of masterpices which communicate their artistic messages realistically. A film maker, Cristophere Nolan for instance, cannot create a cinematically impressive scene unless he crashes a real airplane, although anti-socilal, into an airport terminial. As a result, were the artists to be given such freedom of action by the government, such breakthroughs would, from my prespective, continue to innovatively accure.
Conclusively, not only the creative work of art should be expressed freely irrespective of any concervative governmantal force, but also the artists should even be sufficiently incentivised to push the boundries of social regualarities to the benefit of their art.
