Although such topics, in all likelihood will never yield a consensual agreement, a constructive dialogue on regulation of fake news in social network platforms can lead to thought-provoking discussions. My view is that, irrespective of the numerous arguments that exists on either side, social networks should regulate fake news more strictly. Through the course of this essay, I shall put forth my points and calculations by considering both sides of the argument.
There are number of reasons in favor of my viewpoint. Firstly, fake news on social networking platforms can harm the mental health of people. This is because the sole purpose of social networking platforms is to communicate with new people and also an easy medium to share information but, due to the spreading of several fake news and articles on the social networks it can potentially affect the mental stability of people. For example, if a fake news is shared which includes several articles about the death of person belonging to a certain person then it can affect the normal ongoing life of several people. Nowadays, several articles of frauds and scams are in ascending order which is connected with social media. In conclusion, the aforementioned discussion constructively justifies mt stance.
Another interesting point is that social networks security isn’t totally maintained strictly due to high amount of information being shared every second. So, in my opinion strict security and maintainance must be managed in social networks.
I see that there is equally potential evidence to support the arguments I have provided, and hence, my opinion is that the topic of the statement does reflect on the justification that is provided here.
