Band 5+: do you agrree the statement that the health issue like overweight can be control by introducing the physical education lessons in schools.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The growing problems of obesity and being overweight are very common in today’s generation and introducing variant lessons in school related to physical education is a good approach. I, however, agree with this statement and will discuss the importance of teaching in the school and share my point of view related to this.

The problem of obesity and gaining weight is increasing and become a major problem. The daily routine of people exists through a hectic work schedule. The sitting time during this work schedule has been increased. This lifestyle spending a lot of time while sitting for doing the major work and spending a lot of time on a smartphone, has a major impact.

However, learning begins in schools. The awareness related to health issues that a person can suffer during elder age and even as a youngster would be explained at schools. The knowledge related to health issues governed by the increasing fat and adipose tissue would be a prior concern. If these issues can be acknowledged during childhood and early age of school, the problem related to obesity would be solved. However, the learning acquired from the beginning would not be forgotten lifetime.

However, the development of habits like exercise, yoga, and games in the morning session in school benefits the person’s health development. Even the school takes the lead in giving a lesson on diet along with physical education, would be helpful to control obesity and a healthy lifestyle. For example, In India, physical education is taught in primary school, and even in the morning, yoga is done by all the students. This is a good initiative taken by the school.

To encapsulate, the lessons of physical education taught in school would lead to tackling the problem of a healthy lifestyle and resolving the problem of obesity.

The salaries top-tier athletes command are much greater than those of other professionals. This has raised concerns among people who argue that sportspeople are overpaid, believing it is unfair compared to other more important professionals.
