The use of e-mail has become one of the best technological modifications in our lives in 21st century. People of all age groups and cultural backgrounds resort to this mode of communication worldwide. Although e-mail has a number of advantages, we cannot overlook the disadvantages we have to face with regard to it.
To begin with the benefits of e-mail, it has made the communication easier as compared to ancient times when people had to resort of letter writing to convey their messages. This has led to less dependancy on resources like time and trave. According to a research conducted in Hogwarts school of Sciences, children from age range 18 to 25 years were less inclined towards e-mail writing as compared to older people with age range between 60 to 70 years, as the method of learning was easier and they did not have to go through the ordeal of posting their letter and applications in person at the required post office. Moreover multinational companies approach most of their foreign clients more easily by resorting to e-mails, as this provides them with exploring a broader range of market globally.
On the other hand, we cannot ignore the fact that e-mails are sometimes a matter of unwanted and unnecessary advertisements filling our spam folders and inboxes. Furthermore there is no limitation or rules and regulations that can be followed when sending out these mails; no time limit, no age restriction, no content limitation.
To sum it all up, i firmly stand by the fact that ethical practice of all new enhancements, primarily e-mails are beneficial for the progress of society as whole. We should promote respectful and moral behaviour on all such technologies among our fellows and spread the use of these modes of communications.
