It is thought that economic prosperity is the only criterium to evaluate a country’s success. Although it worth considering, I strongly believe that other factors such as education and healthcare should be taken into account.
A country might be regarded as having achieved accomplishment if their economy is progressive. A prime reason behind this is that economic growth synonymizes with a stable society. Specifically, sustainable economy creates more credible jobs for residents in different sectors and industries. Moreover, this would upgrade the living standard of people in this nation. A case in point is the fact that residents of a strong economic growth are facilitated with well-equipped social services and welfare. Thus, it is obvious that a country with economic progress can be regarded as successful.
However, there is a plenty of other factors to take in consideration. Education is a significant element worth being mentioned. This would not only guarantee better knowledge but also impart basic values and promote positive behaviours of the inhabitants of the nation. Take Japan, an Asian country, for example. Beside wealth and prosperity, the Japanese are respected for their responsibility, politeness and kind-heartedness. All of which have been educated for a long time. This can be regarded as an achievement.
Another noticeable point is the healthcare development. With the help of good medical services, people are less likely to be prone to ailments. This would decline death rates and anxiety as well as increase happiness indications. An instance in point is Cuba. Albeit not being wealthy, healthcare services are among the most developed countries in health sectors. To top it off, they can enjoy free medical services. Therefore, people there have long life expectancy and are less likely to suffer from much illness. This is a huge accomplishment of a country.
