Education is undeniably essential for individual well being and societal progress. It equips individuals with fundamental skills which enable them to function within their community . Some believe that government should mandate education for all children ages five to fifteen and I agree with this. This compulsory education is crucial for every child and having necessary skills will help them thrive the society.

First, compulsory education fosters critical and problem-solving skills. In the formative years, schools provide children fundamental skills in literacy and numeracy (reading, writing and arithmetic). These fundamental skills are vital in navigating complexities in life. The ability to think critically and to solve problem is crucial in managing life. Such as doing simple math when buying groceries or reading instructions when cooking daily meals. Daily tasks like these needs essential foundation to function.

Furthermore, education enhances financial security. A well educated invidual has more opportunities to a broader range of career opportunities often resulting in better jobs. For example, a child who is exposed to education desires growth in his life and has an ambition in progressing in his profession. With good knowledge and skills, children are more likely to become successful adults in the future. Children can land on better jobs, they can become entrepreneurs which may result financial stability. Moreover, such financial stability contributes to the economic growth creating a successful cycle. Reasons such as these are enough to required education for children.

In addition, mandatory education provides substancial societal advantages. A well-educated community fosters informed citizens and responsible decision making. It equips invididual to make smart choices in choosing leaders in their community ensuring nation’s stability. Moreover, skilled workforce enhances economic competetiveness ensuring nation’s ability to compete globally.

In conclusion, government mandating education from early years is vital investment not just for invidual but also in societal advancement. The benefits, encompassing critical thinking skills, improvement of financial security and societal advatanges justify the implementation as education is cornerstone of survival and society’s progression.
