On the one hand, global language can be seen as poisitive for a number of reasons. The main merit is it could help to promote the development of global economy. Single language might predominantly eradicate misunderstanding and miscommunication, people could communicate easier, save time and money for expensive travels. Another benefits would be advantageus is that everyone won’t entercount language barries, so they can acess all materials around the world. People won’t need to pay for language courses and eliminate all wasting time for translation apps.
On the other hand, despite these aforementioned benefits there are several negative aspects that should be considered. Firstly, if the linguistic diversity dissapeared, the cultural and traditional values attached to them also be eliminated. For instance, Vietnamese culture bared on the language Vietnamese and it will be lost if is will decrease creativity countries so creativity is abolished. Secondly, speaking 1 language will decrease creativity of people come from other countries. Diversity comes from different languages, so creativity will be very limited if one language is used.
In conclusion, it’s worth considering that these are both advantages and disadvantage of global language. Beside, maintaining the identity and heritagte of a community can help to getting deeper insights into different ways of thinking of different cultures.
