It is claimed that failure is a crucial component of success. While this point might deserve a careful examination, I strongly disagree with this notion due to unnecessary burden it may put on individuals, which may lead to unwanted consequences for them.
Admittedly, failing might seem like a part of the path towards success. This is important because experiencing failure may prevent individuals from repeating their own mistakes by discouraging them from following the same path again. The experience of failure makes people realize that their way towards success may not always be flawless. Furthermore, it could demonstrate that life might have some unexpected circumstances and challenges to face. In doing so, these cases would enhance individuals’ stress resistance and maturity that could possibly come in handy in future perspectives, such as operating their own business or working on a new start-up, both of which require these qualities to succeed. Nevertheless, notwithstanding such pros of failure in success and its achievement, I would strongly argue that it could discourage individuals from pursuing their dreams and ambitions.
Therefore, avoiding unnecessary concerns and thoughts would be the most perfect case scenario. The failure itself is a negative term, which is likely to cut the number of amateurs with ambitions, particularly young entrepreneurs, by overcomplicating their lives. This should be taken into account due to the fact that individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds may only have one chance to shine, and this opportunity could be taken away just because they have to fail in order to succeed. Another important consideration is that many people may not be able to succeed, even if they have failed repeatedly. This is mainly because not everyone learns from their mistakes, and many of them keep repeating them even without properly working on the ways to fix those issues. For example, an individual without any experience and knowledge in the field of trading may start buying stocks without being aware that those are the least viable options to consider, and this might be happening consistently just because this person believes that failure is just a part of success, without even identifying and eliminating the main roots of the issue.
In conclusion, although failure might come in handy in some cases, especially in those where individuals lack maturity to realize that their path might be disrupted by many challenges and issues they would have to combat, I firmly believe that in most of the cases it just kills dreams of many people by hindering them from pursuing their dreams, moreover, preventing them from achieving goals and reaching heights in life.
