In recent times, not only big companies produce films but also individuals due to their access to technology devices. From my perspective, I believe it is a positive trend.
In the first place, following the advancement of gadgets people can easily make use of devices such as smartphones or computers to make films. It can become their hobby to enhance their creativity and their skills in editing. For instance, before starting to record a video it requires individuals to create a plot, to consider the location they will filming and how the place will be set up. According to that, it is undeniable that individuals actually need to put their mind to initiate a film. Furthermore, after the process of filming is perfected, it needs to be modified to become a film in real meaning. Albeit individuals have supported by editing apps, it is still a harsh challenge for people to adjust videos. For example, people have to apply sound effects and filter for it and the most important is to make every scene go smoothly, but to complete it individuals are expected to conduct a lot of sophisticated editing.
On the other hand, making films can become someone’s career because of the widespread of social media. When a film becomes viral the public will follow their accounts and people will gain enough attention in order to receive numerous opportunities to seize profit. Take for example, influencer is a common definition in today’s world, people who are famous in the media having chances to collaborate with brands to film videos for their productions. These brands can pay a great deal of money for individuals to advertise goods.
In conclusion, may be it has some obstacles due to this development but the benefits it brings just outweigh the drawbacks.
