These days, numerous university students dedicate most of their time to studying but many individuals assume that students ought to do more activities besides learning. In my opinion, I agree with this viewpoint because success requires more than studying.
In fact, it is essential for students to apply themselves to studying, given the importance of knowledge in their later years. Higher education aims to provide students with specialized knowledge relevant to their future careers. In order to gain a deep understanding of such knowledge, students need to invest significant time and effort in learning. To become a surgeon, for example, it requires learners to spend lots of time to focus and research professional knowledge.
Nevertheless, students in almost all universities should do other activities because nowadays the experience is also extremely necessary. In recent years, a lot of students who have a large of valuable knowledge are still unemployed because many jobs require that they need to have more experience and life skills. That is the reason why besides studying at university, learners have to practice in real life. For instance, they can have some part-time jobs in order to have some practical skills such as solving solutions, teamwork, time management and a chance to use their knowledge in real situations. As a result, full-time university students not only have some special tips in their subject and experience but also help them prepare for their future careers.
In conclusion, today, to avoid facing unemployment, full-time university students should experience more tasks in real life. Therefore, I would agree with doing more activities besides studying and identifying their potential and goals.
