In today’s world, global warming has always been a concerning topic encountered globally. The emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide gas into the Earth’s atmosphere layers lead to the average rises of the temperature worldwide.

To begin with, there are many factors that might lead to global warming. One of the major causes is the deforestation caused by human urbanization. For the past few decades, deforestation has been taking place all over world for housing development, city planning and industrialization. As a result, the reduction of the surface area of green forest increases the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere layer as trees play an important role in absorbing carbon dioxide at night for their normal growth. Another cause is the use and combustion of fuels and energy. For example, the uses of vehicles such as cars and motorcycles for transportation increases the emission of carbon dioxide gas into the air.

In order to tackle this rising problem of global warming, government regulators in some countries have implemented policies to protect existing forests and prevent deforestation. This may include stricter enforcement of logging laws, and even initiating funding for tree-replanting programs to absorb the excessive carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere as well as to restore the ecosystems destroyed by human developments.

Furthermore, every individual also plays an important part in helping to reduce the greenhouse effect by reducing the consumption of energy and fuels. Each of us can start by reducing carbon footprints and promoting sustainability. This can be done by practicing simple habits such as carpooling, taking public transport and switching off electrical appliances or lights when they are not in used.

In conclusion, global warming has been an alarming issue nowadays that requires immediate action to prevent further negative consequences for all living things on Earth. Therefore, all of us should join hands and cooperate together to slow down the progression of global warming and create a better living environment in the future
