Country should invest more money on providing STEM education in schools than on music and art. The reason is companies showing necessity on graduates with a STEM background than music or art. I totally agree with this statement.
First reason is people with STEM background leads to grow country economy by working industrial companies. Thus, government planning a long-term. STEM companies is a heart of country economy, because they help for developing of country, paying more taxes, production of new technologies and etc. For example, SAMSUNG and HYUNDAI corporations in South Korea. HYUNDAI produces automobiles, trains and industrial equipment. Moreover, has branch on construction of industrial and civilian projects such as oil and gas, skyscrapers, respectively. SAMSUNG also produces smartphones, domestic equipment such as refrigerators and microwaves, vacuum cleaner and etc. Such companies, need more specialists with a STEM background. In case if country showing shortage on own national STEM background specialists, they will be forced to hire expats from abroad, spending more money than if they spend for own.
Secondly, in case if government spend more money on music and art what benefits for country? I think is not essential than STEM education, only people will grow spiritual. It is important, but so in comparing with STEM development. Moreover, no necessity in such number of people with music and art background for society and country development.
In conclusion, I absolutely agree with statement that government should invest for money on STEM education if the country wants for long-term technological development.
