Band 6+: Have you ever thought about what impression you leave on others? What have you learned from identifying the visible and invisible elements of your identity?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Impressions which I leave on others is probably one of the most essential things for me. For some reason, I truly, deeply care about how people look at me. Furthermore, it feels like society actually drives and pushes me forward so I could always impress people.

Despite the fact that I was told a lot I leave a decent impression on people, I don’t really think I would like to be that exact type of person, which they think I am. They tend to think that I am a kind, warm-hearted, and cool person to be around. On the one hand, it’s great they have such thoughts, but sometimes, it feels like people think I am too soft because of that. I understand it and don’t really like it, so I am trying to make changes.

When it comes to my invisible elements, however, it’s actually hard to tell what people think about me. From time to time, it feels like people can get bored of me, because they may not find something interesting in my personality. Nevertheless, I do believe I have something special, something I cannot really identify as my invisible element of my identity and something which charm surrouding people.

What I’ve learned so far from identifying the visible and invisible elements of my identity is that our thoughts can be turned into overthinking which only harms ourselves. To my mind, we should just analyse our identities and simply try to improve it, but not get stuck on such thoughts.

n the future, traditional classrooms will no longer be necessary because online education will replace them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Online courses have made education accessible to people who cannot attend a school in person. Nevertheless, I disagree that they will completely replace traditional classrooms. The strongest case for online education is that it removes barriers of distance and scheduling. […]

It is widely acknowledged that many companies sponsor sporting events to advertise their brand and products. On the one hand, critics argue that […]

Some people believe that building sport centers is the most useful way to improve public health, while others think that this is not enough and other measures should be taken.

Some people argue that increasing number of sport facilities can help to improve public health, whereas others think that other measures should be considered.
