Nowadays, police officers patrolling the streets is the main method to reduce the crime. However, many people argue that this method is no longer effective to reduce the crime levels. Police officers patrols have been established as the main method to reduce the crimes until now. However, this system is less effective to be used to reduce the crimes levels. It is because the police have limitation on people who joint the patrols, and the police also have wide area to be patrols. So its means that the police cannot do the patrol in every areas. Secondly, usually police do the patrols In the same time everyday. The criminals already know this habits, as the results they choose the different time to do the crime so they can avoid the police patrols.

Several systems have been established to replace the police patrols system. The First system is using CCTV as the main method to observe all of the area. CCTV does not need many people to be operated and also the CCTV can cover all of the areas in 24 hours. This system will make the police easier to identify some crimes even the crime take place in far away, as long as the CCTV installed there. The second system is using some applications to collect the reports and collaborate it with the neighborhood, so the police can collect the report directly from someone who witnessed some crimes and the police can immediately take a respond to deal with crime.

To sum up, the police officers patrolling is less effective to be used to reduce the crimes nowadays and this system can be replaced by using CCTV and some applications to reduce the crime.
