Nowadays, homework is a common part of school life. Some students like it, but others think it is boring and difficult. I agree that homework is important because it helps students learn better.
First of all, homework helps students practise their lessons. Sometimes students do not understand everything at school. When they come home, they can do exercises and learn the topic again. For example, students can learn new English words and use them in sentences. This helps them remember the words and improve their English.
Secondly, homework helps students become more responsible. They must do their tasks on time and not forget about them. Also, they learn how to use their time. I think this is a good skill because students will need it in the future. For example, at university, they will have many tasks and they must do them by themselves.
However, I think that too much homework is not good. Students are often tired after school. They also need time to relax, play sports and spend time with their friends. If they have a lot of homework every day, they may feel stressed and have less time for other activities. Teachers should give students less homework when they have many school tasks.
