It is argued that homework is essential for students’ academic achievements. I fully agree with that view because my personal practice showed that taken assignments helped me to boost my knowledge at both school and university.
Homework assignments help to revise and memorize the whole material of the subject that students learn. For example, it is hard to learn all the information only in 40-45 minutes at the class, so it would be more efficient to do homework and through that reinforce the knowledge. In the end, student has more time to study, understand the subject and its content as a whole.
Secondly, when student does his homework it helps him to solve the problems and errors with the subject he has. Individual learning can be useful as the student takes his time to proceed the material by himself and through that boost the academic performance. For instance, when person solves the problems with others like classmates and teacher, it is easier to find the solution, but harder to know which part of the material is more difficult to you. So it is better to learn and understand the material through the homework at home.
In conclusion, homework is the key part of the studying process. Students not only gain the needed information fully but also learn the skill of solving their errors and become more aware.
