Homework is essential for learner’s academic achievement. I completely agree with this statement because extra tasks which they do at home help them reinforce knowledge and make some researches about new topic to gain additional information.
On the one hand, homework sometimes gives stress for students. This means that after having around 6-7 lessons at school it’s hard to focus on extra tasks at home. For example, subjects such as math, biology, geometry and history which teachers give a lot of assignments take amount of time after school. As a result, students do not have any free time to play with their friends, do household chores or doing hobbies.
On the other hand, doing extra assignments at home very important for learner’s academic success. In other words, if students do not repeat or research extra information after new lessons, it does not keep in their mind. For example, after gaining new knowledge, simple just 5 minutes of doing extra task about this topic helps more than repeating this after a long time. This may lead to increase students marks and achievements at school.
All in all, I think it is beneficial doing extra tasks after lessons and keep new knowledge for a long time. Also, achieve lot of success in academic way.
