It is considered that there will always be certain individuals who are deemed to be more dedicated than others at their school or workplace. From my perspective, I believe that this is indeed a good habit and there are various reasons that contributed to the discrepancy between these types of workers.
First and foremost, the key rationale that determines a hard-working person is their characteristics. Specifically, those people who are ambiguous and enthusiastic about adventures have the tendency to polish their professional skills willingly, rather than accepting their flaws and weaknesses. As they get interested in acquiring further knowledge for their work or study, they will eventually learn how to think critically by asking their supervisors or those who are willing to help them. Furthermore, as one becomes diligent and serious about their work, they can also cultivate self-discipline and thus fulfill their potential and desires.
On the other hand, a minor downside of working strenuously in the long term is that it can negatively affect one’s health. Pushing oneself more than one’s capacity can not only exacerbate their mental health, which has already been worn out from working, but also diminish their ability to focus on working or studying due to sleepiness. For instance, night owl workers often get less than eight hours of sleep at most night and, as a result, they become sloppier at work as time goes by.
In conclusion, there’s no doubt that working or studying persistently is one of the best ways to bolster a person’s knowledge in their field. However, working for a controlled amount of time is also important for any person as we must stay healthy, both mentally and physically, to work.
