In majority of countries few students decide to study science after high school. This essay will discuss the main reasons why it is neglected by most of the students and then describe the possible effects of the problem.
In my opinion, the foremost causes of not studying science are complexity and finding it as a hard profession. A wide range of students had difficulty with science as it includes complicated theories and terms which are challenging to learn. Moreover, lack of awareness of career prospects in scientific fields would be another prime reason. More and more people consider that this major seem as underpaid profession when compared to business -related jobs that are generally lucrative.
The possible effects of this issue are a shortage of people working in scientific fields and reduction of innovations. Firstly, there would be less workers sections, such as medicine and technology. As a result, these services become scarce and not be able to accommodate one’s needs. Secondly, if sufficient amount of experts and researchers do not focus on world issues that require improvement, the problems can be left unsolved and this leads to appearance of another huge problems.
To sum up, many students do not prefer studying science because of complexity. This results lack of workers in science-based sectors which is affect negatively.
