From personal perspective, parents should enforce straighter discipline on childrens’ food. For instance, parents can prepare meal in accordance with nutritionists’ advice. This can help their child to maintain a balanced diet, avoiding over consumption of fat, sugar and oil, which are the major contributors to obesity.
Besides, parents can encourage their kids to play team sports. This is because team sports like basketball requires intimate collaboration within the team, which create close bonding between teammates. This can drive children, who are more relying on friendship and recognition from peers, to participate in team sports and establish habbit of exercise. Such practice is able to ensure a healthy life style and lower the chance of obesity.
From the government perspective, they can amend school syllabus and make physical eduction a compulsory lesson. This can ensure students a chance to play sports regularlly and motivate them to excersie more in their leisure time. As a result, students can burn out excess fat and prevent themselves from overweight.

However, if we implement better control over the children’s intake, and push harder for a healthy life style, it is optimistic in seeing fewer overweight kids. While this require close cooperation between the governments and individuals. The problem could only be tackled when all people in the society work hard to overcome it.
