The most effective method to provide sufficient housing in large urban areas is to construct high-rise residential buildings. I completely agree with this statement because tall apartment blocks allow cities not only house a large number of people on a small area of land but also provide housing close to jobs, education, healthcare and other services.

Firstly, tall buildings can house many people in a small area. Because in every country, most people live in cities for various opportunities that they cannot get in the countryside. As a result, cities are normally crowded with people, and everyone needs shelter to live. Therefore, a lot of free space is needed to accommodate a family, and in cities there is not enough free space or land like in the countryside. So, living in tall buildings really saves a lot of space, and a lot of people can live on a small area, making it efficient. For example, I live in Dhaka City, and it is an overpopulated city where people mostly live in big apartments. There are a lot of floors, and each floor has a lot of flats for each family.

Secondly, high-rise buildings can keep people close to jobs, schools, hospitals, and other services. In cities, there are almost endless opportunities, so people come here to find and use them. In addition, people from every part of the country want to settle in the capital only for this reason. Therefore, the city is normally crowded with a lot of people compared with the size of the city, so high-rise buildings come in handy in this situation. For example, I live in the capital in the country for a lot of job opportunities. In case of emergency, there are good healthcare facilities and much more.

In conclusion, I agree that constructing high-rise buildings is the best method to provide sufficient housing in large cities. As a result, people can live in a small land area and also enjoy city opportunities and services.
