Education is an important part of our lives. Some people think students should be taught practical financial skills, such as managing money and saving up, while others believe that academic subjects like mathematics and literature play more essential roles for their intellectual development. However i think budgeting and investing are experiences, gaining from each individual’s family members. That is why, we should focus more on their cognitive improvement.

Firstly, All families don’t have the same financial circumstances. For example, teaching how to manage five dollars for a week may lean to fall in the quality of a student, while it causes a serious issues for poor parents. As not all people are in the same condition, it man not make sense to teach such a sensible matter at school. Instead, teachers can touch some important points, such as assigning tasks that provides general information about spending, displaying good results of investing and so on.

On the other hand, academic subjects are meant to contribute to students’ intellects. They are provided with crucial materials, aiming to develop their thinking, coherence, understanding, counting. Students become more clever to decide what and how to do something. For instance, a student who is good at math can easly play chess. This is a proof that academic skills are more useful.

In conclusion, Students shouldn’t be taught how to be stable financially besides simple tasks. I strongly consider that the subjects that aim intellectual skills are more necessary.
