Nowadays most institutions are concerned about development of their systems because of growing competition among employees. While some believe that pupils should learn pratcical subjects, such as financial education and catering, others support traditional curriculum with common lessons preferably where children obtain knowledge about history and literature art. I will discuss both views and explain why school should combine practice and theory equally.
Firstly, it is absolutely necessary to provide students anough practical skills during their education. There is a growing tendecy of integrading new subjects where pupils are able to practice and upgrade their abilities in the different areas, such as cooking or how to cope with economical problems.Consequently, it allows teachers to prepare learners to independent lives by built strong confidence.
Secondly, theory brings crucial foundation for building the further skills. In other words, pupils will not be able to make a chair, if they are not aware of the ways and the names of the materials. In other words, it is impossible to pay less attention to subjects where youngers are encouraged to study history, read books and learn orally. Teachers teach children that practice follows theory, and theory follows practice. For example, pedagogical research of the future doctors has shown that some students were able to show the chemical reaction, but they could not explain the stages of the given result academically, while another group of students had remarkable marks, but they did not have enough practical skills to present the process properly.
In conclusion, it is impossible to prioritize some subjects more than others because of the importance all of the studies provided at schools. The best way is to find a balance between teaching what it is and how to do this.
