It is undeniable that the children are being freedom too much in the modern universe. It was not in the previous time. In my opinion, it is a negative development for several important reasons.
To begin with, the teenagers are not able to know about their advantages and disadvantages properly, so they cannot pick up any activity which one is better for them that helps them in the future. For instance, nowadays, most of the children are using mobile phones excessively rather than reading books or learning new skills. As a result, their creativity and concentration power are decreasing day by day, which affects their academic performance.
Furthermore, too much freedom sometimes makes the young generation disrespectful towards their parents and teachers. In the past, children used to follow the guidance of their elders, which helped them become more disciplined and responsible. However, in the modern era, many youngsters ignore advice from their parents and make wrong decisions such as wasting money, skipping school, or getting involved in harmful activities. Therefore, excessive freedom often leads to moral and social problems.
In conclusion, although a small amount of freedom is essential for children’s growth and confidence, too much of it can cause negative effects on their behavior, education, and character. Hence, I strongly believe that this development is negative ratherthan positive.
