Many countries have rising rates of crime committed by younger people. This issue is paramount as it is currently opposite to the expected future of the new generation. From my point of view, the current situation is dire and needs proper solutions to mitigate it.
As the era changes, we do not see a change within the economic system as it still favors the experienced rather than the vigorous and curious. This needs to be addressed, younger people because of their difficulties with finding a stable job, have resorted to crimes ranging from petty to serious. It is also to note that young adults have to pay an exorbitant amount to enter and learn in a college which makes the need for a good income to battle the mountainous amount of debt. The experienced, in most cases, have CEOs and leader positions posing a negative bias over the new workforce, adding to the already large amount of issues with starting off a career.
To find a solution, looking toward large changes made within a short brief time is both inefficient and costly. Firstly, adjustments must be made to the veteran’s conviction against the amateurs who are trying to find a suitable occupation. The main problem with unfairness will be resolved once it is successful. Secondly, helping to change the societal view that experience is paramount to creativity, even though both of these aspects need to be balanced for the company to be well off.
Though these changes do help with the main problems that younger people are facing, awareness of this problem needs to be increased to completely it clear up.
