It is true that in the world now the percent of teenagers participating in crime have significantly increased. This essay will outline a number of reasons for this trend and a number of possible solutions to help tackle the issue.
The growing of crime rate in adolescents is attributed to various reasons. One main reason of this is that teenagers do not have adequate education about the laws and the consequences behind breaking laws. This is because schools are only focus on teaching academic related subjects without teaching other crucial things about life. As a result, young people when they go out into society, they can choose the wrong path for themselves which brings a large number of consequences to the individual. In Vietnam, for example, numerous of teenagers listen to their friends to do quit school and become a drug dealer as it is a high pay job.
There are a number of viable solutions to help tackle this problem. To begin, parents need to care more about their children more especially during when they in the age of 16 to 18. The reason is that children often choose the wrong direction for their future as they do not have advices from their predecessors. Therefore, as the parents spend more time with theirs children the parents can give beneficial advices to their children based on the parent’s experience which can make them stay away harmful stuff. Furthermore, this can also help improve the relationship of the child and parents as they spend more time together which make them know more about each other.
In conclusion, although crime rates increased in teenagers, there sre a number viable solutions to counteract this problem.
