In the modern epoch, the reporting by the media tends to pay attention to problems and emergency circumstances rather than positive developments or upbeating news. Meanwhile, numerous individuals hold the belief that it is detrimental to citizens and communities. Regarding the mentioned statement, i only partly agree with it as in my opinion, positive news may appear instantly , but it can cause harm to people.

From my point of view, there are several reasons why urgent media is popular in this day and ages. The reporting by the media is useful because media attention shows some dangerous situations and impending natural disasters. Being informed of the consequences of this activity, people can avoid an upcoming disaster of nature such as a storm or hurricane. It allows individuals to prevent bad situations and reduce damage to property and life. Furthermore, when instant news appears on the hot topic by trending media, it can raise individual’s awareness on the demand of changing our society and environment for a better life. Furthermore, according to The VIETNAM express, an online news agency of Vietnam, above 30% of endangered animals being hunted as tiger or black bear have sounded alarm bells about the extinction. Therefore, the government shouldered their responsibilities for protecting endangered animal species. By encouraging teenagers in Vietnam participate in protection campaigns to save animals from the extinction.

On the other hand, there are some reasons for this situation which bring along negative effect to community. Nowadays, some media companies focus on trending circumstances or hot topics to gain profit in a bad way. They can use fake news or sensational titles to attract many individuals so it can cause damage to their opinions and behaviours. This problem leads to people’s ignorance and some misleading views. For instance, a political rumour on Vietnam communist party in 2022 caused anxiety and confusion among people.

In conclusion, urgent issues on media are useful for people to be vigilant about impending problems. Besides, it may cause harm to people’s awareness instead of community development.
