With the modernisation of buildings, the appearance of cities and towns has changed significantly, particularly in developed countries. While there are certain benefits to constructing buildings in a traditional style, I believe modern buildings are indeed important and efficient.
Proponents of setting traditional buildings cite various reasons to support their stance. If governments allocate their money to establishing new buildings in ancient style, it can allow citizens to gain invaluable insights into the country’s history, and cultural values and learn about the life of their ancestors, deepening their grasp of cultural matters. This can ultimately instil a sense of pride and national identity into the hearts of citizens, thus fostering a deeper understanding of their origins. In a world dominated by not only local disputes but also International tensions between countries like Russia and Ukraine, learning about history can make a big difference when it comes to preventing such dire repercussions.
Despite these arguments, I contend that building modern facilities is much more important. When authorities construct high-rise buildings like skyscrapers, they can change the appearance of cities, making them visually appealing tourist destinations, which sets them apart from other countries. As a result, such alterations can attract tourists globally, thus fostering national recognition and enhancing the financial stability of the country. A case in point is the country of Dubai where foreigners gravitate towards this city because of its ubiquitous presence of high-rise buildings.
In conclusion, although preserving the old-style constructions offers several benefits, I firmly contend that the erection of modern facilities is more beneficial than ever before.
