Nowadays, the problem of obesity is more and more popular in our society, which leads people to the false belief that being overweight is healthy and harmless. In reality, obesity is a medical condition itself and can lead to severe health damage. This essay will go through the main reasons of this problems, and consequences it brings to individuals and society.

One of the primary causes of increasing obesity is fast-food culture, especially in the USA. Unhealthy fast-food, like KFC, is becoming cheaper and cheaper compared to minimum income which makes it more accessible for people with low hour wage. Eating unhealthy food has become an acceptable social structure in the USA and has spread all around the world. But because of the amount of fat that food like this contains people only harm themselves, which can lead to obesity. Moreover, nowadays the percentage of overweight people in America has reached just above 50 percent.

The increasing popularity of muckbangs (people eating on camera) has changed people’s perspective on how a healthy meal should look like. People eat enormous amounts of food on camera while looking perfectly healthy, leading others to believe it is, indeed, a healthy diet. Repeating this not only makes people gain weight but also develop illnesses like bulimia or anorexia. Moreover, this movement can lead to people thinking that a way to get a healthy body is to eat like those muckbang bloggers. In reality it results in gaining weight and self-perception disorders.

In conclusion, the main reason for increasing obesity and unhealthy body are the spreading of fast-food culture and muchbang bloggers. This may result in self-perception disorders and even develop into severe diseases like bulimia or anorexia.

Some people believe that technological developments in medicine will eventually reduce the need for doctors because machines can diagnose diseases more accurately. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

A number of individuals consider that the demand for medical professionals will eventually alleviate because robots are able to diagnose health issues more precisely.
