Band 6+: In many countries, people are living in a "throw-away" society. They tend to use things for a short time and then throw them away. What do you think are the causes? What problems may it lead to?

Nowadays it is widely common for the throwaway community to purchase supplies and after that discharge them. The main problem demonstrates the global pollution of the world ocean because of unrecycled materials in clothes and in plastic. To tackle the issue, it would be significant to produce sustainability clothes, paper packages and bottles.

One of the reasons is the worldwide pollution of the environment, when individuals throw away plastic everywhere. To be specific, plastic has not tended to be recycled for 300 hundred years, polluting our nature every day. Nowadays, our society is not educated enough about rubbish, which they throw away everywhere. That means that trash is located in various green spaces, water areas and in fields. If in our institutions students had an opportunity to study the practice of recycling and sustainability, the percentage of polluted ocean would decrease. However, they are not aware about upcoming issues, destroying our environment. For instance, in Ukrainian schools sustainability sessions are not included in study material. That is why, the wide range of green areas are polluted by plastic, fabric and packages.

To solve the current global issue of harmful attitudes to the environment, it is crucial to include lessons about beneficial recycling and sustainable fashion. It would become a well-popular factor between teenagers to consume useful data in ecological fashion. Specifically, the extended part of clothes materials is harmful on our planet. That is why, community would be interested in lessons with ecological outfits. In the future, society will begin to share these habits of sustainable fashion for their close people, creating an aware community. For instance, they would carry cotton bags instead of plastic and fur, remembering the stories from lectures.

To sum up, the throwaway community has been becoming bigger due to fewer knowledge in environmental lessons. However, modern lectures about recycling would contribute to the valuable literacy in ecological topics.
