Nowadays, when people living longer in many countries, there is some individuals who argue that older population may create issues for governments, meanwhile others claim that the elderly are able to make positive impact on society. This essay will show the discussion of both views and give my opinion.
On the one hand , older generation may provoke some economic difficulties to government, such as: requiring to raise pension payments, special services to retired old people, and other programs to simplify their lives. This requirements can affect negatively to national budget, economical sustainabilty and could lead to crisis. As an example, due to increasing number of old people in India’s population in 2010, negative effect to all nation was predictable.
However, the elderly can also help to improve our society. They can upbring our children while telling them life stories, give some useful advices, teach to be a patriot. For instance, my grandfather is very rich in life expirience and stories, he always taught me to love my country, my hometown, and now, i want to stay in my country and want to improve it.
To sum up, i would say that even if older generation is create problems for government, they can affect positively in upbring younger generation to be patriot and love their country
