Nowadays, plastic containers have increasingly become an integral part of our life and are used by many food and drink companies. Although using containers made of plastic have many benefits, I believe that their drawbacks can exceed them in the long run.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why plastic containers play a significant role in our live. Firstly, the price of containers which made of plastic are better than that of other materials such as paper. This is due to the fact that everyone can easily afford to buy that. Therefore, many customers fond of buying the products which use plastic containers in order to have a good price. For example, instead of buying the product which use container made of green material but have high cost, they prefer using plastic basically because it is cheap. Thus, food and drink companies must use plastic containers so as to satify their customers. Moreover, despite having low prices, containers made of plastic also have great quality. Plastic is widely known to resist heat,rot well, so it protect products stronger than many materials.
On the other hand, I believe that the cons of using plastic containers can outweigh the pros. First of all, plastic is one of the most serious pollutants. This is because food and drink is the necessary products, thus the amount of plastic increase significantly. Secondly, it is dangerous for people to use plastic containers for a long time because plastic leaks chemical while we use it. Consequently, using plastic containers have higher health risks and it damage our environment and nature. For instance, many people throw plastic trash into the ocean, but it is not decay for over 500 years, so many animals are endangered.
In conclusion, despite the fact that plastic containers offer good price and high quality, I also believe that it have numerous negative impact.
