In this contemporary world, it has become quite easy to move from one place to another. In many nations, a large number of adults prefer to live apart from their parents during the period of study as well as before the time of marriage. In my perspective, the demerits of this development are far more than merits. It will be elaborated in forthcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, there are enormous negatives of living far from parents. Firstly, students who are far from their parents cannot spend quality time with their parents. Usually, they remain busy in their work and studies. Although, due to advancements in technology, individuals are unable to stay connected with each other, till parents and children bond gets weaker with the passage of time. Hence, this trend of living at another place for long time is not worthwhile.
To add more in it, people who are living abroad are unable to supervised by their parents. To explain it, many students stay in different country for the purpose of study. During this time they deal with many kind of individuals since adults are not as much mature, indulge in bad company. Mostly, parents are unaware regarding this and they find It is impossible to prevent than children from bad society. As a consequence, absence of parents during adult stage of people can bring hazardous outcomes. In contrast, if individuals stay in other nation then they learn many worthwhile aspects of life, most notably independence. This is the major benefit of studying or working abroad. To conclude, despite of having few advantages of living in another country, it has enormous disadvantages which cannot be overlooked. Eventually cons of this trend outweigh the pros.
