In contemporary society, there are more and more sports and exercise classes, which are replaced with academic subjects. This essay will explore the reasons behind this issues and the resulting impact on children and their lives.
This issue is attributed to various factors. One primary cause of this issue is focusing on academic achievements. Nowadays schools focus only on the performance of exams and tests, putting heavy pressure on children’s minds. Another significant factor contributing to this problem is limited resources for extracurricular acitivities. Schools do not have enough resources and funds to organize extracurricular activities for children, leading to children not being able to develop both physically and mentally. For example, nowadays, most schools only want to focus on educating children in academic subjects and consider extracurricular activities as unnecessary. This wrong thinking has caused very serious effects on children’s spirit and health.
Developing physical education classes is a range of challenges. One of the primary issues is impacting on physical health and mental health well-being. For example, when children learning difficult academic subjects continuously, they can exhausted from this pressue. In addition, children can become passive and have reduced resistance. Not exercising for a long time will gradually make the body tired and mentally exhausted.
Another critical concern is children’s social and holistic development. Children who do not participate in sports classes may have limited opportunities for learning and personal development. For example, participating in extracurricular activities can help children develop teamwork skills and mental responsibility, helping improve their social skills in their future.
In conclusion, the replacement of sports and activities classes with academic subjects can lead to many effects on children’s lives such as physical health and mental health. From my perspecive, children should not be forced to study academic subjects too much, instead, balance studies with sports practice, and extracurricular activities, helping children develop comprehensively.
