In today’s fast changing world, whether women should join the army as men do has become one of the most discussed topics. Many people believe that woman have the right to do whatever they want including serving in the military, while some people argue that only men are best suited for this harsh environment. In my opinion, I partly agree that women have the right to join the military.
On the one hand, there are many reasons why some people think women should not join the military is not suitable for women. One major reason is that, some military positions require considerable physical strength, endurance and stamina. For instance, soldiers may have to carry heavy equipment, run long distances and operate in harsh conditions, which can make some military roles physically challenging. One significant aspect is that some people argue that long periods away from home may make it difficult for women to take care of their children and families. For example, military personnel may have to spend long periods away from their families, which can make it difficult for parents to take care of young children.
On the other hand, there are many other benefits if women join the army. One key point is that they need more than physical strength, women can contribute in areas such as medicine, engineering, communications, intelligence and logistics. This is because, female can serve as doctors, engineers, communication specialists or intelligence officers, where specialized knowledge is often more important than physical strength. The next reason is that female should have the same opportunities as men to choose their careers. To illustrate, women who meet the same requirements as men should have the right to purpose a military career.
From my perspective, although military service can be physically demanding and dangerous, I believe that women should be allowed to join the miilitary because they can contribute valuable skills and deserve equal career opportunities.
